From 1987 – 1997 she was founding member of the Mask Theater Group Bremerhaven, working as a solo artist since 1991. Since 1993 she is active as a teacher of dance and mask theater.  

As a dancer she has put her focus on Butoh, often in combination with masks from her own workshop. She calls her style of dance “Butoh-esque MaskDanceTheater”. 

In November 2021 she was elected 2nd chairwoman of EUROLAB e.V.
